About the event
Different generations, Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, were shaped by completely different worlds. Those worlds influence how people communicate, cope, seek support, and experience stress at work. When those differences collide inside one team, misunderstandings and tension can quietly build.
This session brings Clinical Psychologist İpek Potur to unpack the mental health patterns, communication styles, and stress triggers unique to each generation. Together, we’ll explore how workplaces can create environments where everyone feels understood and supported no matter how they were raised or what they were taught about emotions.
Attendees will walk away with practical tools for bridging generational gaps and strengthening team wellbeing.
• How upbringing, culture, and world events shaped each generation’s mental health norms
• Why communication feels effortless with some colleagues and tense with others
• Ways leaders can support mixed-generation teams without stereotyping
