About the event
Microaggressions aren’t always loud or intentional but their impact is real. They shape trust, belonging, and psychological safety in ways that organizations can’t afford to ignore.
This session goes beyond definitions. Clinical Psychologist Deniz Keskinel will explore the subtle behaviors that erode workplace culture and the emotional weight they place on employees from marginalized backgrounds. More importantly, she’ll unpack what meaningful accountability looks like individually and organizationally.
Participants will learn how to identify microaggressions, respond in healthier ways, and build environments where people feel respected, understood, and safe. • How microaggressions form, why they persist, and their emotional impact
• The difference between intent and impact
• Practical ways to intervene whether you’re the target, observer, or leader
• How organizational culture can reinforce or reduce harm
